There are several ways you can support the National Center:

1. Become an Individual or Institutional Member

Memberships range from $50 for Associates to $1,000 for large Institutional Memberships. Benefits include discounts on fees for conferences, the training program and publications and access to services from the "Members Only" section on our web site. In addition, one Member will be elected each year to the Center's board of directors and others have the opportunity to serve on board committees.

2. United Way/Combined Federal Campaign

The National Center, beginning in 2002, will be participate in the Combined Federal Campaigns of the United Way of the National Capital Area, Washington, DC. The Center's campaign number is 1665.

3. Conferences and Training Program

National and Regional Conferences are usually supported through grants and corporate sponsorships. These gift opportunities are published separately in accordance with the individual events. However, one form of support that is growing in popularity is the scholarship which any foundation, corporation or individual can purchase and give as a gift to someone who would not otherwise to be able to attend that event. This is also a good vehicle for local funders who do not ordinarily give outside their localities to support an event by providing scholarships for people from their own areas to attend.

Your gifts are tax deductible but a portion of the deductibility of the Membership fee is determined annually by the Center in accordance with IRS regulations. Complete information is available for the Center.
