Positions Sought is a free service available only to Members of the National Center seeking new positions or advertising services. Valmont Consulting, LLC Valmont Consulting, LLC., is prepared to facilitate and guide a process of social change that promotes the well being of traditionally disadvantaged people via various consulting services:
Valmont Consulting, LLC., facilitates and guides social change through a variety of state of the art proven techniques encompassing the research and analysis of social/urban problems, innovative program development, planning and evaluation, facilitating discussions and focus groups at conferences, meetings and professional retreats, and designing strategic plans for non-profit, government, civic and for-profit organizations. Mary Eustace Valmont, Ph.D., is principal and director of Valmont Consulting, LLC. She is a seasoned researcher, evaluator and educator, and experienced in the areas of low-income housing, community development, urban education, welfare reform, homelessness, and foster care issues. She earned a M.A. in social/personality psychology from New York University and a Ph.D. in environmental psychology from CUNY’s Graduate Center. Dr. Valmont has a cadre of professional colleagues with whom she collaborates on specific projects as may be required for additional expertise. They are specialists in the areas of bilingual-bicultural issues, law, data analysis, and advocacy. Their roles are to provide expert consultation to inform social policy.
